Our Leadership
Sam Walker
President
Sam has over 25 years of demonstrated experience in planning, purchasing, and delivering complex commercial, institutional and healthcare construction projects. With a reputation grounded in thoroughness, market knowledge, and execution, Sam and his team’s work is characterized by an uncommonly high standard of care and predictable positive outcome. He prides himself on open, direct, and frequent communication and being held accountable for his obligations in achieving project success.
Sam earned his BS from Northeastern University and his MBA from University of Connecticut School of Business.
Bobby Langer
Senior Vice President of Operations
Bobby has more than 38 years experience in the construction industry, starting as a carpenter. He is responsible for everything from planning, organizing, staffing, training, and managing to overseeing finances, collaborating with construction project management professionals, and more. He is the only field executive responsible for the construction of two 425,000-gross-square-footage corporate headquarters buildings in Connecticut (100 College Street in New Haven and Pratt & Whitney in East Hartford).
Drew Nelli
Vice President
Drew began his career over 25 years ago as a carpenter and is now responsible for all aspects of our construction projects. From preconstruction to construction oversight, his technical knowledge and focus on schedule, quality and risk management are positive reflections on all of our projects. Drew brings a structured delivery method that ensures success on every project while creating a positive environment for clients, designers and consultants.
Drew earned his BS in Construction Management from Central Connecticut State University.
Rick LaPointe
Vice President
Rick is an accomplished construction professional with more than 20 years of experience delivering complex projects throughout the Greater New Haven healthcare and higher education markets. Over his career he has managed a variety of projects from preconstruction through closeout including occupied renovations, campus infrastructure improvements, and mission-critical environments. Known for his collaborative leadership, he is highly regarded for building and mentoring high-performing teams focused on safety, quality, and client service.
He holds a B.S. in Mechanical Engineering from Worcester Polytechnic Institute.
Arben Shala
Vice President
Arben has over 18 years of experience in the field of accounting and internal audit in different sectors, including more than 10 years in construction. He is responsible for overseeing all financial operations, managing job cost controls, contract financials, and cash flow across a diverse portfolio of projects, leads financial planning, WIP reporting, budgeting, forecasting, and payroll. He is also responsible for managing relationships with our third-party insurance agents, auditors, tax accountants and IT services.
His expertise in construction accounting ensures accurate reporting, strong financial discipline, and alignment between project performance and company-wide objectives.
Arben received his bachelor’s degree in accounting and finance from the University of Prishtina, Kosovo.
